add something like an icon to show that a player is offline when we view their profile

I dont think it should be possible to disable profile visibility. These are public infos and is in other places, tig just put it inside the game

As Refused said, it’s public info and Tig just added it to the game when you’re offline.

They can’t request a trade with you when they’re not on your room, so they won’t be able to do so when you’re offline

and you can click in block trade requests too

Some players may not feel comfortable with their profile to be reviewed when they're offline. There are already concerns expressed regarding the update above. Personally, it’s not a huge deal for me, but having the option would be considerate for those who may like the privacy.

Having the profile always available actually leaks less info about you
Because all the profile info is available on cheeseformice anyway (https://cheese.formice.com/p/Milkydied%235767)
Only now people can't tell if you're connected or disconnected using the /profile command
