I think the best solution was to remove every flag so neither ukranians and russians feel it as a punishment becuase only theirs would be blocked... Removing every flag temporarily makes everyone have the same capacities in that regard, no one is left behind (or everyone is... but you get my point)

1. I dont think letting things fester like this is a good idea. 2) Probably to avoid people making such a big deal about it, extensively talking about or supporting the war, etc. It's just temporary and not that deep. I wouldnt call it hiding it as much as not talking about in announcements.

btw i heard that people were arguing cuz of the ru and ua flags. i used to wave ua flag and then someone used to wave ru flag but there was never fight/argue or something. but its a temporary thing so all we can do is wait

I understand what you are saying, you wanted it to be announced just like other features and changes. However, on a decision that had multiple factors to be considered, and for this one specifically, administrators decided not to share and really make it a silent action about the situation that's going on in the world. That will not become a common thing and announcements that should be announced will still be announced!

I'm loving that the suggestions gained more attention, as for the lack of the announcement I understand a little of the fact that they omit the change, it's something temporary and not permanent, and as Matza has already stated, a way of saying that they are neutral about the political situation in the world. It should be noted that this is a children's game, it was not made to discuss politics and therefore measures are necessary.
