im not very good at being shaman myself, but what I can suggest is even though you don't have your totem yet, I'd look up some totem ideas because that'll be the base for building
im pretty sure you have c/v nails (yellow/blue) so you can always utilise those because they wont give you the red nail in the middle that messes up the builds a lot

bans automatically affect the whole ip
if 1 persons gets banned on an ip, anyone else who tries to use the same ip will see the same message but their account itself won't be banned, so they can just switch ip

when you ban bos players make sure you dont ban accounts of people who are on same ip as him!!!
