Hi @velvet mulch, the system does work as intended. The reason why it keeps verifying the other account is because on the browser you are using to go through the verification process, you are logged in to Discord with that account. You will have to log out from that account on your browser BEFORE clicking on the validation link, else you will automatically join the server. The next step is to log in with the Discord account you want to associate your IGN with. If it "doesn't work and still does the same thing" then it means you are NOT logged out of that account on the browser, or you're mistakenly logging in to it instead of using the correct one.

Before starting over I'd suggest resetting the session entirely, by clicking on the little hamburger button and then the appropriate option. Alternatively you could open the validation link in an incognito instance to make sure there's no interference with your existing cookies.

(The former just erases the cookies that are stored on your browser and thus starts the process afresh)

Si tu as été banni plus longtemps c'est que tu as probablement déjà fait preuve d'insultes auparavant et donc que tu as été sanctionné plus lourdement cette fois. Concernant, l'insulte que tu as dite ça ne sert à rien de lui trouver une autre signification, mais je t'invite à contacter un modérateur par message privé sur le Forum ou sur Discord si tu souhaites voir ta sanction avec lui ou elle.
