I'm modding my GBA with the FP v3.0 screen and the bracket isn't fitting properly when the screen is inserted.

Just a shot in the dark but the bracket is definitely facing the correct way up?

I think so. It doesn't really fit the other way

I'd recommend giving the ribbon a tug so it clears the bracket as you apply some pressure to push the bracket down

I feel like I'm only making the ribbon cable want to go upwards more, but this is 100% a ribbon cable issue. Thanks for helping me diagnose that

can you post more pictures of the bracket? I have a suspicion it's not intended for the IPS kit, but perhaps I'm wrong

Looks the same, to me it's a matter of pushing it down unless there's something blocking it from doing so

Update- may have used more force than I would have liked to, but I think we got a fit
