your ffc is off center and bridging a considerable number of pins
do you have a hot plate or hot air station?
it absolutely could if you have the wrong vias bridged
the right side here is bridging several pins
if you can, remove this ffc connector and try again
maybe clean the reg up a little wwith some flux but thats minor
that looks even worse at this angle
you know where this guy came from?
can you post the new install pics?
