#GBA SP Sound Issue

Recently modded my alm 20 yr old gba sp and I noticed that there was little to no sound. I can only hear faint sound when i press my ear against the console.

I have replaced the old speaker with a new one which made no difference, and I also tried cleaning all contacts on the board. I only have surgical alcohol wipes and have been trying to clean the volume slider but to no avail.

Im at a loss and wondering what else to do especially since I have 0 soldering knowledge or any knowledge about motherboards. Below I have some pictures of the board. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can see a lot of oxidation on the volume slide, you should take a qtip embedded with white vinegar and put some drops on the spot with oxidation, then, after some time scrape it with an old toothbrush, first with vinegar, then with denatured water(the water from the air conditioner is ok, it neutralizesthe acetic acid), let it dry and make another passage with Isopropyl alcohol. If you were able to solder you could desolder the volume slide (the correct way to do it) and give to it an acetic bath(same procedure as before, but in that manner you are 100% sure that all the oxidation will disappear!) or changing it with a new one (you can find them on ebay or aliexpress), also due to the lifespan of the capacitors (almost 30 years for the electrolytic ones) when at the soldering work changing also that one (4V 100 uF if I remember correctly, you can see the value on it) should improve your work and the audio compartment of the gba sp. Sorry for random errors, English is not my native language..
