Which battery are you using? Is the console charging at all? Do you have a multimeter to test battery voltage and probe around?

The replacement batteries all use a slightly different connector and require a little more force to insert than OEM. It won't damage anything to insert the replacement battery.

You’re going to have to open it up and check continuity across F2 with a multimeter if the original battery isn’t working still

Even if the OEM battery doesn’t work, it might be a relatively easy fix. You’re going to have to get a multimeter to diagnose. Otherwise, you can post in marketplace to see if anyone wants to take on the diagnosis/repair.
