I did the CPU and RAM swap and everything seems to be soldered well. The console displays the gameboy logo and even boots into games. When I boot an official game, the gameboy boot screen proceeds fine and then a white screen is all that I see. I can hear the game audio and when I press buttons I hear sound effects. Any idea which pins I might have bridged? Its just strange to me that I can see the gameboy splash screen just fine.

can you show some pictures of the components you soldered on?
check for floating pins
same for the memory. it looks like you did not remove the old tin from the components before soldering them on. then they do not sit flat on the pcb and you can have floating pins
all of the pins are now soldered well, checked with tweezers
Its gone from white screen, to showing me a single frame, to displaying video with an incorrect palette
what could be causing the palette to display incorrectly? more of the same?
what did you to to change it from white screen to your single frame issue?
just tried reflowing the pins on the cpu and ram
