Hello guys!
Recently I buyed a IPS screen and a FunnyPlaying GBA Rechargable Battery from RetroRepairShop but i had a problem.

Since the first time, the console shows me the red light of low charge but when I charge it the PCB module shows me a green one. Thinking was the battery pack I buyed a new one from amazon (same specifics) but the story doens't change.

I've tried with a classic AA battery and all works fine.
Someone could help me? Thanks!

PS: I live in Italy and the shipping cost are high for a replacement so I would like ti solve that by "miself" :/

what is the voltage on the output of the mod?

should be 3.7v
both of the battery

the output of the PCB board not the lithium cell

#

but the lithium cell should measure higher than that when fully charged

1800mAh i think
the FP site didn't tell the output

ok sounds like you dont know what im asking for. take it to an electronics repair place, like any mobile phone repair place and have them check the voltages. if the output of the battery mod is correct, then the power switch of the GBA needs to be cleaned

Ok, after all those days I brought the gba to the repair place and we've cleaned the powerswitch and now all works fine!

a last question: how should i do the "maintenance" battery satus? Can i fully run out the battery or I should recharge it when the gba led turns red?

the battery itself has an indicator. charge based on that indicator
