My buddy’s SP just started not working today. Turn on and the power LED flashes but no power. Changed batteries and ran it plugged in, same results. Could this be the switch or are there other possibilities or common failures

Switch was taken apart and cleaned with no apparent damage. Still same results.

Checked fuses. All seem ok.

Can you take pictures of both sides of the board?

Sorry for the delay. I’m trying to help my friend by posting this but he’s busy with uni and I just got the pics from him.

Everything looks clean. Fuses have continuity? What about voltage across the switch when it is powered on?

I’ll have him check it. Though I think he went over all that. We’ll see.

No power issues can range anything from a bad L2 inductor, bad u4 IC chip, bad T1 inductor coil, or broken traces somewhere etc. You can check all these one by one until you find the root of the problem ")
