#Intermittent Power Switch Issue on GBA

Hello and thank you for taking the time to help me out! I have modded and cleaned this GBA and cannot get the power switch to consistently turn the device on. Sometimes pressing and holding the area near the power switch enables a successful boot other times it turns on by flipping the switch in rapid succession. I’ve cleaned in and around the power switch with high percentage isopropyl alcohol and a brand new tooth brush to reach inside the switch slot. Any advice on remediating this issue is much appreciated!

https://youtu.be/2_Pt_odHyzo it sounds like you did a drip and flip. Not a reliable method. If you have soldering abilities follow this video. If not maybe take the console to a local repair shop to have the switch cleaned.
