Summary:
Adds more mechanics to bows: Bonus damage (on headshots & against unaware enemies), buildup of Weaken on armshots, Slow Down on legshots.
Bonus Damage:
Whenever hitting the enemy in the head or when they are unaware you gain minor bonus damage as a separate hitsplat. The multipliers are multiplicative. This means that the bonus damage is determined by:
Bonus Damage = ((HeadshotMultiplier) x (StealthMultiplier) - 1) x (BowDamage + ArrowDamage).
- Headshot: Adds some damage and impact if you hit the enemy in the head. Default: 1.25x Damage, 1.2x Impact.
- Stealth: Completely unaware enemies takes the full stealth damage multiplier, once on patrol or alert it is reduced by 1/2 or 1/3. Default: 1.6x Damage.
Example:
Using the default values, the bonus damage on a headshot against a fully unaware enemy is then:
Bonus Damage = (1.25 x 1.6 -1) x (BowDamage + ArrowDamage)
Bonus Damage = 1 x (BowDamage + ArrowDamage)
So it's the same as hitting the enemy twice.
Status Infliction
- Armshot: Inflicts Weaken buildup on the enemy. Default: 40% buildup.
- Legshot: Inflicts Slow Down buildup on the enemy. Default: 35% buildup.
