Cause guy there uses Digital Ocean with Ubuntu
And it seems to me that Oracle Cloud is totally different and im just totally lost in things like this sincd im a total beginner
You can definitely create a dedicated game server using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You can use any service really: AWS, Digital Ocean, etc. If provisioning a server is what's giving you problems, I recommend you temporarily switch your mindset from "I wanna make a multiplayer game" to "I wanna make a server that serves a simple static HTML website." You will learn a lot along the way and hopefully by the end, you'll see that a game server and a website server are a lot alike.
and if you aren't already: get comfy with Linux lol
I would really love to but i;m making this game for a school project (the final project) and i have about 27 days left
And my mastermind thought of choosing GODOT and game development as my final project even tho I've never worked in it before and never developed any game 😁
So right now im in a bit tight spot
But thanks a lot anyways man
