i dont even know what forge is

#

or hwo to update it

tardy wraith
#

then how tf are you playing with mods

#

forge is needed to run mods

#

so you obviously installed it somehow and went through the setup, created a new minecraft installation and mods folder

left frigate
#

im using curseforge

#

is that forge

tardy wraith
#

uh technically

left frigate
#

ok so how do i update that

tardy wraith

go to versions

#

im assuming you're using the curseforge app

#

are you using a modpack?

left frigate
#

im using curseforge app custom modpack

In CurseForge, click View Profile on the modpack, and open the menu beside the Play button. Then click Profile Options. Scroll down to Current Modloader Version. You should be able to locate the desired version in the list.
