#How long do hot air balloons take to heat up?

I know that they take quite a while to, but I'm just trying to figure out how long I should wait before trying to fix it. And about that, any tips for balloon troubleshooting?

You might need more rotational power to the ballooneer

What is the minimum?

thin aurora
#

Depends on how much you need to lift

#

I think

#

Well, yeah

#

But for a ballooner to work at all

Or you might need to re-form the balloon by right-clicking the ballooneer with a brass hand

icy coyote
#

You have to do that..?

thin aurora
#

Depends

#

Idk how exactly it works either

#

Is it consuming fuel?

#

You can see with the engineer goggles

icy coyote
#

It's not...

#

For some reason

#

I right clicked the ballooners with brass hands and they're still not consuming fuel

#

The balloon is airtight. No diagonals either

I had a bug were the ballooneer was working without consuming fuel

#

What's your rotational power source?

icy coyote
#

A combustion engine (I know how original)

#

The input speed is 128 rpm if that's what you're interested in

#

Ballooners don't seem to have a stress impact either

#

I'm sure that they have rotation coming in through the bottom

#

Does rotation direction matter?

#

Now it's consuming negative fuel..?

#

@thin aurora you might want to see this

#

I figured it out

#

There were two stairs holding it down

#

Not a part of the airship

#

Now I'm at Y=2500 and falling rapidly

#

It's going into the stratosphere, falling, and going back into the stratosphere again and again

#

I managed to go into the cockpit and turn it off

Not super relevant but iirc multiple ballooneers for one ballooneer don't stack. You have to section your balloon to make use of multiple
