Items are not being picked up by chutes and hoppers on airships

It seems that the mechanical belts are able to pick up items though. so I will use those for now. The chutes I placed on the ground seem to work as I expect, so I think this is just a eureka/clockwork issue.

It might be lag or similar

But i dont think it will because it is already an entity
