...there are special moments mixed within. Email was how I kept in touch with my parents when I moved abroad in my 20s. Now that they’re gone, I’m grateful to have a record of that love sitting in my Gmail. When I go searching for those emails, it feels like stepping through time.

I thought this was really interesting. I haven't thought of it that way, but i could probably find lots of interesting stuff like this in my inbox if i looked.
