@grim lava @narrow phoenix What I meant by not standard is that it doesn't have a standard conjugation. When you teach learners, you are trying to help them remember lots of different conjugations. This is why a lot of teachers do not teach vosotros - because it's one more conjugation for students to have to remember that they may or may not ever encounter. If they are good on the most commonly used conjugations, they can pick up a another conjugation or two later.
If you tell me that vos exists, when I go to study abroad or consume material from Chile/Argentina/Colombia, I will recognize it.

i think it does. i mean, i think teachers should at least mention vosotros and vos and include it in their tables, and should ensure that they can recognize it, but not necessarily use it unless they want to.
that being said, you're right. there are 3 forms of vos, but just showing just the general one isnt too much of a problem.
many spanish natives dont even recognize the one used in like that one province of venezuela and colombia
(the one that conjugates like vosotros but with vos and is exactly like voseo reverencial but informal)
hell, teachers dont even need to test that their students can recognize it, but just mentioning and including it in their tables wouldnt hurt. the same goes with vosotros
most newcomers who have had a year or so of spanish classes in this server can at least recognize vosotros even if they havent explicitly learned it
