It's not just using Khan Academy to skip courses. It's basically using the internet as one big resource to teach yourself stuff
Once you learn how to teach yourself stuff, school then becomes secondary to your education

I was able to skip Calc II in college because I was able to prove I knew the material enough (thanks to Khan Academy and Paul's Math Notes)

Yeah, that's the idea, that you can prove you have the knowledge
There was a kid who wanted to be in ACCEL math but he was a year late
Meaning that he had missed half a grade's curriculum
But he did Khan Academy and then the test and he was accepted
The first in the school's history to get into ACCEL math when not in one of the intake years

You have to show the school your character as they are trying to gauge whether or not you'll fit into their vision for the class of 2024
