To be honest, I don't know anything about japanese pronnunciation, but anyway thanks for the information.
PD: I don't even know how to say at least a word in japanese.

Edit 2: "orijinarusu" is the first word in Japanese that I have learned, its translation and pronunciation.

katakana is used for foreign words and is usually p easy to deduce, or at least, imo

hiragana and otherwise aren't bad, especially if you have it memorized. At least for me personally, I find Japanese pronounciation fairly easy in terms of how consistently components are pronounced

It's helpful to note that uh.. how should I put it? With fluent Japanese speakers, components are more clipped rather than the sounds being slurred together.

when you pronounce japanese, it's good to think of the components separately, i guess? as someone growing up around native speakers in my family, that's how I tend to think of it

like say, hajimemashita
ha ji me ma shite

(shite in fluent speakers is often more like shte, not very drawn out)

If you break a Japanese word into components and also observe the enunciation of certain parts that native speakers have, it makes it easy to pronounce most words

Regarding becoming fluent in another language, I think if you have to translate from your first language to your second language constantly, you aren’t fluent. However, if you end up speaking in the second language without needing to translate to your first language (at least most of the time) and then start thinking in the second language without needing translation, I’d pretty much consider that fluent. That’s because you know the language enough that you don’t need to translate, and you start thinking in that language if you speak in it. Does that make sense? I basically jotted my ideas down and didn’t pay close attention to grammar, so sorry if anything was off 😂

Well, I think I finally found the best match for me as my third language: Portuguese.
The reasoning is simple: it’s the next easiest option, and it is spoken to some extent in the U.S.
Mandarin is a good choice, but it’s way too difficult for me to get a hold on. And as much as I like to learn French because of my French-Indian heritage, it might not be useful to me because of a decline of the language as a whole in the U.S. No offense to anyone that speaks French, I’m just saying. Besides, Portuguese is easier than French anyways.

Also, I’m making novels based on “Doki” made by Portfolio Entertainment, which utilizes English, Spanish, and Portuguese; so that should work out for me.
