Esta usado mas en academia, y algunas personas dicen que es mas mathematical y academic
y Haskell es como un idioma que intenta hacer todo que pueda con la programacion funcional
its used a lot in academia for research into functional programming techniques
functional programming is interesting though because even though you have to learn to think differently, programs can be a lot less "buggy', and can be shorter
code made with functional programming tends to be a lot more reusable too

and i want to get to ap span lang
but that is spanish level 5
so what should i do (which class to take over summer/ dual enrollment) i really want to get to the ap level where my skills will be pushed
because the spanish 1-4 at my school doesnt have honors so the teachers dont teach as much as they could

I initialized an int heads = 0
Same thing for int tails = 0
Then I made a for loop
For int i = 0; i < 100; i++
Randomizer coin = new Randomizer.nextInt(1,2);
if coin = 1
heads ++

But I get an error at Randomizer coin = new Randomizer.nextInt(1,2)
I thought I was using it right because it says you can set a min and max and it will choose a value between those
I’m guessing my syntax is off but I’m not sure what it’s supposed to be?

sorta, typically static means something is a "class" method/function/variable
so like
a non-static method for a dog might be: bark()
because each species might have a different "bark"
like a chihuahua
or a grey hound
but a static method would be something that applies to all things of that class
like species
or animal kingdom
dog.KINGDOM == 'mammal'
for instance

are usually used for things that are "classless"
or apply to all of a class
like the number "pi" is usually a static constant
because it doesnt change, regardless of any class instance

you can just call it like this

the static part says you need to put the class name beforehand

its saying you have to call it from a static context
