Shading only by adjusting the value (which is like, the brightness/darkness of the color) and saturation gives some strange results
unless you're doing a b/w picture, where the only subelement of color you have is Value

"Era" has a different use, it's like the difference between "soy vs estoy" ... "era vs estuvo"
