depends rank for what, if it's for staff, or buyable ranks. also if your server has a specific theme, it's better to work with it, like a completely survival server might prefers things like adventurer/hunter/etc while creative servers use builder/architect ranks

I wanted to work on a project that uses sqlite3@4.2.0, sadly, there are no builds available for that for my node module version 83, but for 79, if I use 79, I'll likely be able to not run the project because it's outlined that I need to use 14.x (83) and not 79 (13.x), even if I could run it using 79, I'm sure some other projects will break and it'll only take it's time until 79 will bring me into other problems

GitHub account is not a bad idea, many plugins also use GitHub as their issue tracker so that might also be useful.
There are also organizations, these are groups of people working under a seperate namespace but with different accounts (google has it's own organization for example, LuckPerms itself too)

If it's hosted locally and you're attempting to connect to it with a domain pointing to your public IP address, unless your router can do hairpinning it won't work.
