i don't know much about kvm but i remember struggling for a long time with xenserver and having my vms connect to internet
in the end all i had to do was let all the networking configs be done automatically ;-; (in the options for creating the vm)

My VM is already connected to the internet, but today I noticed some hiccups that cause issues with the gameservers, essentially the network connection gets interuppted from time to time for only a second

No, but they get a "Connection Lost" message, the game hangs and it takes the game 5 seconds to re-connect, which is very annoying

that's really weird, and again if it is kvm then I'd have no clue what to look at, so if I were you i'd do a sanity check and make absolutely sure it isn't something else

I already checked everything else, it happens somwehere between the VMs network adapter and the Host system network adapter, so it has to be a issue with something in between

Also if you use pterodactyl, you can easily do that. Pterodactyl is using docker for their gameservers afterall

Dynamically, you can't. That would require a bridge between docker and Minecraft

i saw something on the forums about being able to use the bungee API to get a map of all of the backend servers, and add a new one to that map
which gave me hope

but using the internal naming structure you can prevent the bungee configuration from needing to be re-done everytime to destroy containers and add them again, or if you to internal port assignments, that also works great

but they don't have docker support yet, its on their roadmap thought

CloudNet is a all in one solution to easily setup your minecraft network and extend it if you need to
For example you don't create the servers directly, but you make a server template ( A lobby with all plugin configurations pre-done and the world map ) and then you can add as many lobbies from this template as you want, it also supports fallback if one of the servers dies
and it has a bridge to bungee ( and some forks ) so that every server you add is avaiable instantly
