If she doesn't know how to edit a config, or doesn't want to, that's her problem, and honestly if all your gonna do is buy premium plugins to do things for you, when there's a free plugin available that does the exact same thing, you shouldn't run a server. Not stating you can't get premium plugins, I'm stating getting a premium plugin if all you want is the same features as the free alternative plus a " configuration" is bad & shouldn't be done. You learn from experience, and mistakes are obstacles which you overcome to learn more.
Also debugging errors & reporting them, if it is an error, is an essential, and once you start doing it. You will start doing it more frequently, and get active replies from devs.

Well quick computer lessons:
- Kernel: The program that actually runs on the hardware. It executes the operating system which in terms executes all the programms
- Driver: A part of the kernel that interacts with hardware (typically). So like that the computer knows how to handle the data a mouse sends it needs a driver
- UPS: Yes. Uninterruptible Power Supply. It's like a backup power supply that is used once the mains power is off for whatever reason. Important to prevent data loss.
And internal means it sits inside the housing of the machine
- SBC: In this case means single board computer. So a computer that fits onto one board. If you know what a Raspberry Pi is, then that's an example of a SBC. Though the one we use is a bit bigger
So it's software to talk with the UPS. It sends data like how full the battery is and how hot, etc
It also communicates the state of the computer back to the UPS so it can properly decide what to do
Like if the computer is off it doesn't need to supply any power
And if it's already shutting down it wouldn't need to send a shutdown signal, etc

Imagine your RAM being made up of memory cells. Each cell has the same size (one byte) and how many cells you have determines how much RAM you have
Now to be able to interact with the RAM each cell has an address. Starting from 0 and going up 1 by one until the end (not 100% correct, there come some virtual addresses first, but not important to the concept)
A computer instruction can for example say load what's in cell 1234567 and add it to whatever is in cell 7654321. And store that result in cell 5555555
Essentially that's what you're computer is doing all the time
Just with different instructions and different memory cells
Now I hope that suffices as an explanation for memory addresses

Now since most normal programs aren't written to take great care about the program the kernel needs to do something about it
Also it needs to make sure that program A can't access any memory from program B
Else security goes down the drain
Several of the most recent worst security issues like spectre, meltdown or dirty cow achieved exactly that
That's why they were considered so severe
Now keeping that memory separated and tidy is the job of the kernel
It creates a virtual mapping of memory addresses. Like for example it says that for program A the address 123 actually points to address 12345
And the address 123 for program B points to 54321
Now this is actually fairly complicated and there are a lot of things that the kernel can do to optimize memory usage but we'll not get into that
But we have an issue now
We use the term memory address for two different things now
Once for actual memory addresses in the physical RAM and once for the virtual addresses the programs use
That's the difference between kernel space and user space
Kernel space being the actual addresses and use space being the virtual ones for the programs
There's a fair bit more that all follows similar patterns of isolation and virtualization and all that is differentiated by those two terms
