Cause my servers randomly started getting these lag spikes like the last few hours, i removed every plugin i added today and still lagging, ive tried everything i can think of, still lagging. Its not constant lag its lag spikes. For example when someone joins or teleports thats the only time a lag spike occurs?

I'm looking for something that will let me display the color of usergroups from luckperms in the names within leave/join messages of users that are in a specific group e.g. admins, members etc.
I'm aware that I need some chat formatting plugin, right now we're running on EssentialsXChat and have ChatControl installed but maybe you know if there is another plugin that will let me do this?
(I've tried looking into both configs but haven't found an option that enables this for me)
Greatly appreciate any pointers or help if you do know what I could use!

I'm not certain - i just recommended it to see if it would, and even if it did, it would display the whole prefix, so you'd have to make the prefix a colour code and maybe it will apply to the leave/join message?

if this is a new problem on an old server, look for something you've recently changed, which is likely the culprit
if it's a new server, check compatibilities and possible outdated mods which could be stopping you from connecting

Hey everyone. I jumped on this discord channel cuz here may be someone who can help me. I have this UltimateRaces plugin. When player joins the server he chooses hes class and then plugin runs couple commands trought console (effect and kit). I noticed that the items i want to give to a specific player, goes for all players in the server. This is what im using now: give @p golden_axe. Simple as that, but doesnt work. How can i run a vanilla command to give item to one player and not all players.

vanilla commands don't always work in spigot servers. try using another means of giving that item to that player, perhaps using PAPI - not sure if ultimateraces supports it but its a chance

like, first of all, displayname shows prefixes, which in my opinion shouldn't, I think prefix should be the only parameter that shows prefixes
second of all, yeah it doesn't show the bold part :L
the way I set it up is that there are the [1], [2], ... [100] all separate groups
and then there's the staff groups such as [Helper], [Admin], [Owner], etc.
each group has their own prefix
I didn't put a weight on the prefixes/groups per se
lemme show u what I did in luck perms though
basically, I was able to sort of "weigh" the different tracks to show which prefixes show first
I did check in lp github wiki though that like, this is what you do to show multiple prefixes
what I said before though was that in essentials x, what it seems is that the {prefix} placeholder combines all the prefixes together
that's why when determining weight of the prefixes all together, that's a lp thing
it's just that for some reason the owner prefix I can't seem to make it "bold"

I'm having an issue connecting bungeecord on a host
I got it to work on a local test
but when I try connecting to the bungee IP I have set up on the host, I get this message
I can't think of anything I forgot to do to the spigot server on the host
if I try connecting directly to the spigot server, it says;

@spark tusk i know that most of the plugins allow you to customize what players can and cannot do including what factions/clans they can join. It's highly likely that by giving the right permissions nodes you can set it up so that players can only join one of two clans

Okay, lame question, unrelated to LuckPerms. Would you happen to know why my command blocks work partially in multiplayer but completely in singleplayer? It's a long shot so if nobody knows, it's cool. Basically I can get it to do simple give commands for simple items, but not long complicated ones. The string stays one color. In single player, it works as intended.
