Also, you can't download jars of modified mc-servers as that is against Mojang's ToS iirc.
That's the reason why Spigot only offers build tools as building it yourself is a greyzone and kinda allowed

Mojang has better things to do than chasing down sites distributing stuff, they've taken down some malicious stuff afaik, but never really dealt with spigot, etc; stuff
Saying that, downloading from those type of sites offers 0 garauntee that they've not been modified in some for of way, nor do you have any form of guarantee that you'll get support when using such builds, etc; Either download paper from our site or use buildtools and get a jar, it's really not that hard, tbh
(Heck, if you want the latest supported version, you can pretty much throw the jar in a folder and double click it, you won't get any feedback so I recommend using git bash, but, it works)

it would be up to your tablist to pull from vault to display prefixes. have you verified that you have the prefixes correct in LP and that if there is a backend plugin for the tab that it is installed? I personally use BungeeTabListPlus for tab and it works well.

Hey there!
So today I've been the entire day trying to make a plugin works that is called "OldEnchanting". This plugin brings the old enchanting experiences to your server. The plugin comes from a github page which the author gives you all the files of the plugin but he doesn't compress it on a .jar file, you have to compress it in a .jar file by your own apparently.
The issue is that I can't make it work, since I've been trying to even copy what each of the source files contains and creating it on Eclipse, and then saving it as a .jar, then when I drop it into the plugin folders and run the server, the plugin doesn't load. I've tried this in a bunch of different ways to make it work (I'm newbie at plugin development) and none of those ways worked.

If the VPS-plan you have has a max bandwidth usage, then there's little to nothing that you can do against that.
If there isn't a limit, then the cause of lag may be
- Too many entities
- Bad internet connection
- Not enough RAM to process stuff

I.e. either you have a % in the format, which you shouldn't, or the plugin did a derp

And the %player takes the name of the person speaking and you can edit the color of that by doing /lp group <> meta addprefix <> "&7[&eTest&7] &e" the &e at the end makes the player colour yellow. Just 1 thing before you do this go into the config file of ChatEX and you will see %prefix%player%suffix somewhere, make sure to type &r before %suffix so your chat doesn't get coloured, if you want players to talk in colour chat (The ability to use & colour tags in chat I.e &3Hi!!) I think there is a permission you can use to make players talk in coloured chat, keep in mind even though chat looks cool and colorful it will cause a lot of lag if many players are talking with colored chat

Hi JG, I managed to sort my issue thanks to EssentialsX discord who advised me to set the weight of the primary group above that of default. Now I can set the chat colour as I want. Problem solved I think.
