@torn frigate i think i may know what it is, when you asked for the screenshots i went to my plugins to open up essentials to get the screenshot for you and i seen a plugin which i installed called coloured groups which i never actually set up and i opened it and it had a pre setup default with a colour tag so i think it was prioritising that instead of what i setup with luckpermissions, i changed the code to a comment and saved it and im going to restart the server and test if it fixed it now

My major annoyances with LP are in how the primary group works, behavioral change there would probably not be pretty, however;
The only other real annoyance is around things like strings being all over the place, last I saw, to get a list of players groups, you needed to get the players nodes, iterate them to filter out the group nodes, then go actually lookup for the group objects

@icy sentinel per world inventories works on 1.14.4, currently using it on some servers, you can have it switch invs on gamemode change, but yea, even if you block dropping items, etc. you still have the exploit of just placing blocks/etc and then mining them in survival to sell/use. as usb said, at the least you need a separate world, preferred is a sep server dedicated.

i dont know of a direct way to accomplish this. only work around i can think of would be to use a quest type plugin that once the items are gathered, then it would issue a command so the player has the perm, then you could use world guard extra flags to issue a command once the player leaves the region to remove the perm

so by default, asb will create worlds called ASkyBlock and ASkyBlock_nether
ASkyBlock is where islands will be created
they are all in the same world with borders
what you do is change the distance to give more space between the islands and protectionRange is the actual island size
if you want to visually see the borders, you can use a plugin like island border
