Curious if you guys might have any ideas on this. I typically play using a modded client, utilizing Forge.
Most high-end resource packs tell you to use OptiFine for CTM, however I've been using https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/ctm as a drop-in replacement.
What I've noticed is that if I load Minecraft with OptiFine, I get terrible framerates. In game, when I first start up, that's about 3fps. After about an hour, I can sometimes get it to hover at around 15 fps. Not exactly great.
When I use CTM instead, I can take advantages of the connected textures in the resource pack but I get framerates near 100fps on a bad day. Typically I average around 120fps.
I do like using OptiFine because of its torch enhancements (holding a torch casts light and you see light from others' held torches) as well as its zoom feature (handy for reading far-away signs), but at 3fps, Minecraft is unplayable.
These are the launch arguments I'm using (1.12.2 Forge):
-Xmx6G -Xms6G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -client -d64

That depends entirely on what plugins you need. Since 1.14 is still relatively new, not a lot of plugins have had a chance to properly support and test 1.14. I'm still running a 1.12.2 server.

Looks like your server timed out. Spigot tells you that it stopped the server because it stopped responding in time. try:

Perhaps someone broke a chest etc with lots if items inside, now theyre all over the ground and the server times out due to having to tick all the items laying on the ground.

If it helps, it did not crash when I removed all of my plugins
I added 16 of some of my most basic plugins, since I am running alot of them, and the crash happened again, only this time with a much more readable log
Without the plugins, I can join and run around so I don't think it's the world, which was my first thought

That's actually not true. You can change the storage type to YAML, but the way the plugin stores some permissions (Per world is what I've found so far to be an issue), it doesn't really make it any easier.
Plus every ranking ladder and group is its own file, so there's still no centralized work space.
