Ok.... Now really easy:
To set a permission/group for a user/group on all servers with 1 command you first have to make sure:
- All LPs on the Spigot-Servers are connected to the exact same database (same username and password)
- A messaging service is setup. LP uses
sqlas default, when you use MySQL or similar.
LuckPermsBungee is completely optional, because of the new (default) messaging service sql.
It is only needed if you want to manage permissions on your bungeecord, or you want to use pluginmsg for some reason.
Possible reasons why a user doesn't get a group/permission can be:
- Not having the same UUID for the name (That is mostly the case when you didn't setup IP-forwarding)
- LP on the spigot server isn't connected to the same database

If your website samples more data then you would need, you woukd be forces to delete it. Imagine saving a phone number if a user (forced to enter one) and you never use it anywhere, you just have it to have a phone number, that would already violate some gdpr laws.
Additionally:
When you run a website in the US but expect EU users, EU users have the right to request all their data and full deletion of them . That includes server logs, except you need the data as proof for a lawsuit
There is a lot more to the gdpr, but i should have prooven that i know a thing or two :p

Just take that as a warning. Stop tagging staff for useless stuff.... If it's something really important (someone insulting others, raids (we had that before), etc.) sure, but not to give a not wanted statement, response of just not saying message.
We don't mind people tagging us if the chat is really active, because messages can get lost or people think that the message was for them when it wasn't.

- I create a server, a world generates
- I don't like that world, so I install multiverse with cleanroomgenerator
- I create a second world.... It's how I like it (pretty much empty, nothing there at all)
- I go to this new world, and now I want to delete the first world that has stuff in it....
mv delete {firstworld} doesn't work, "Cannot delete world"
Is there a way to manually delete the first world that was created?

And... cleanroomgenerator isn't "really" making an empty world (so I discovered), If I fly in one direction, I see land... It's like a massive square is deleted, but there's still land in the distance in all directions.

Yea, you'll need to configure it all in server.properties
for world-gen, you'd also need to set the generator in bukkit.yml

Luckperms isn't going to put its groups into other config files. You have to add them yourself. The stuff in essentials is just the default config, you're meant to change it.
Also you need to put weights on your groups

@rain edge depends on how your stuff is set up. You can completely disable command blocks in the config, or can limit them to Op, or limit them by permission.

the weight is like a priority system, the higher the weight the higher priority the rank will take. So say for example you have two groups, owner and default, you are currently in both groups, but Owner has a weight of 1000 and default only has a weight of 5, then all the permissions from the owner group will take priority over the default rank

You have to create them, for example here is my owner and admin group:

Then just give each group their permission to receive the tab name/tag, so I would've given my owner group the permission tag.owner and my admin group tag.admin

that is what tells the plugin how to sort them, so for example with my setup I have owner set at 1 so it will be displayed first then admin and so on.
The lower the sortpriority the higher the group will be sorted
