If I can give feedback:
Way to "compact". Scoreboard shouldn't be used for showing walls of text.
They are more usefull for dynamic infos (like your ping, health, xp, rank to name a few things).
With that scoreboard, a lot of players lose focus of the server (also the fact that it covers half the screen isn't good to) and leave it again.

I use Signboard. Better then a big arsed wall of vanilla signs that usually end up looking like crap if someone uses a texture pack. or if i use a texture pack and format the text on the signs to look nice but on vanilla it looks like utter crap.

While I agree with you @hybrid loom that scoreboards should be generally used for dynamic info Signboard is fast, very lightweight and only kicks in when a player actually looks at it to change their scoreboard. once they look away featherboard (ect) switches back on for your dynamic info to be displayed 😃

That's obvious if you check the URL of a resource... It always ha the title, followed by a dot and a nuber
You could remove the text or change it to anything else and it still leads to the same page, as long as the id is correct
Also Spigot uses the Resource-Manager from XenForo too.

The simple fact is @acoustic surge is that software development is focused on the target audience. Being minecraft, and unless suddenly Mojang/MS starts to push for higher java versions - which they won't in order to placate users on Win10 using Intel HD crapware - minecraft dev enviroment will revolve around Java8. Hell only revently the requirement for java was increased by mojang and that was for what... 1.12 I think.....

Me, I feel as if it wouldn't be too difficult considering it synchronizes with many perms plugins already Synchronizes groups with the following permissions systems: bPermissions, GroupManager, PermissionsBukkit, PermissionsEx. though I'm not exactly sure.

With me its a little...different. Think of it as running two networks. One closed off. and another that is open to public (the normal minecraft network that everyone knows about). The closed off network is a network that is focused on people with disabilities. The only way you gain access is via a recognised service provider like the luke priddis foundation (example only but its where most of who joins the closed off network).
I deal with the parents/adults and with the foundations directly. Never with the kids. The conditions that the kids join is that they must join in the presence of their parents/care givers. This helps the parent/caregiver understand their child/charge properly as they learn and grow in a safe enviroment that is not only supervised by the parent/caregiver but by other parents/caregivers as well
