Well you need to decide if you're going to follow the EULA or not. At this point most servers don't follow it and I know of a lot of small-med servers that sell ranks with features that affect gameplay

This is something that is not only not supported from Pt Panel devs/coders but something that needs to be setup uniqute to your environment as well. If you are asking me beforehand how to setup Cloudflare for this then you shouldn't be doing it as you won't be able to diagnose issues if they arise from using Pt Panel.

Cloudflare =! DDoS protection. for that you need actual DDoS migation service - something that Cloudflare won't supply to someone that is running game servers due to the volitility of script kiddies and people hired in order to take down game network/s

I'm about to go check if PEX has been updated in the last two years (not including MC version compatability updates). I think 1.23.4 was the most recent official release two+ years ago. All I know is that Luckperms is kept updated, still has legacy support for older MC versions (if limited) and works on both spigot as well as spongeforge. - not to mention bungee as well. I'm curious as to who is going around saying books and signs are not "professional" for displaying rules and such. The way I see it, if it's your server then it's 100% your choice how you want to display these things.

On my server we run new players through a linear cave with holographic displays set up along the way showing each rule. Of course people can just run past them all and claim they read it but we usually catch them later on anyway.

I may not be understanding this right, but I asked my host provider for a free subdomain name to hide my actual IP address (from view). They do it for free. But now one of their staff said they have to charge me for it since it is dedicated. I am confused. I didn't ask for a dedicated IP. I only asked for a subdomain, which according to their wbesite is free for all customers. 🤔

Also is it true that I would need a dedicated IP for voting websites?

I don't know. My host provider may have just misunderstood what I wanted. He thought I needed a dedicated IP address even though that's not what I asked for.

I asked for a free subdomain, and so he sets one up for me and gives me a link to the cpanel.

Only the domain won't work and he's now as confused as I am. lol

I may have aksed this before but missed the reply, but players joining for the first time are not joining at the exact spawnpoint. They are joining about five minecraft metres away from spawn, landing in a puddle of water. Does anyone know a fix?
