My suspicion is that bukkit is lowercase-ing it then, since I can't imagine LP would randomly toLowerCase permissions for no reason. If you're just trying to retrieve prefix data, Vault's a pretty easy way to retrieve that data. Can also use LP's API but it's more complicated

A couple of default contexts which are by-nature mutually exclusive (iirc it's only server and world) operate as an or, everything else is and with no ability to configure.
Unfortunately not operators aren't possible currently, though you can set permissions to false with the appropiate context (and grant the permission with no contexts), which should have the same end result

That being said, having also used UPerms (albeit several years ago now), it was nowhere near as feature-rich as LP, and while the GUI is a cool gimmic and all, it's a much bigger pain to work with especially considering there was no real commands / web editor / config file to edit permissions aside from the aforementioned GUI. The one thing I will give them, is their permission database is convenient, though Verbose mode mostly eliminates the need for that

Mohist have always had user input for replacing plugins with patched alternatives afaik.
Just a lot of stuff in the PSAs surrounding the hybrids are wrong, or just misleading.
I know end users are dumb af when it comes to getting support for hybrid suff, doesn’t mean you just trash everybody as a response.

Arclight are actually some really nice people yeah (albeit hella understaffed for the amount that they deal with/do), and they have a very interesting way of wrapping around forge and getting it all set up.
I do agree that hybrids are used more often than they should, but the counter to that is that most Forge alternatives are nonexistent or donkey doo.
At some point I’d like to make a cross API alternative to EssentialsX, since y’all are missing out in that market lol.
Overall I just tell people that “no, you can’t just use ModelEngine, that’s not how it works” and “use the minimal amount of plugins and find as many Forge alternatives as you can”.
They still never listen though

I use hybrids as a bucket of mixed beans, grab one, see if it works with the modpack, try the next one.
Mainly I use them to get protocol support for Forge servers, but now that we got Ambassador with BungeeForge/Proxy Compatible Forge I find I need them less and less for smaller servers
I ran a bunch of proxy compatibility tests and Arclight came out on top (properly supports Legacy/BungeeGuard and works fine with PCF)

Could be that your LuckPerms data/storage might be corrupted, I would suggest copying the LP plugin data to a regular Paper/Spigot test server to see if that's the issue.
Hybrids aren't supported in this server, and if it's an Arclight-only issue, you'll need to figure this out in their Discord.

the "glitch" is that offline mode allows people to join you server with any username/uuid they want
and that happens in vanilla minecraft
