LuckPerms does not perform any chat/tablist formatting of its own!

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

Just set up weights and use %luckperms_prefix% - the group placeholder will return the group name or displayname if you set one, you should be using the prefix

You can use contexts, but that would does not prevent them from flying, contexts make perms apply when the.. context is met, if it isn't met, the perm is not applied (i.e. does not "exist")

LuckPerms only acts as the source for prefixes / suffixes, it doesn't actually apply them. You need an appropriately configured chat/tablist formatting plugin for them to be displayed. If the values appear correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

If you have multiple chat plugins they possibly could be conflicting, although EssXChat for sure does stuff correctly so I don't think that's the cause

Keep in mind that verbose works if you're using it from the proper LP.
Bungee LP cannot report checks made on the spigot server.

sounds like your network isn't properly syncing? it shouldn't matter which /lp or /lpb you use if they are synced properly.

You are correct brian, The more I setup these servers the more I realizee the ram useage has for sure gotten more intense over the years. Hopfully it is more stable though, it used to be that MC could just decied to eat ram like crazy and your server was screwed. Also to the guy above test server is great for experimentation and testing, even if you cloned your server
