And if you find the time, I'd highly suggest you LP regenerate your config.
You can do that by renaming your old config, restarting the server, manually applying all configs you changed to the new config and restarting again

LuckPerms is only able to send information to formatting plugins so that they display them properly. LuckPerms does not put the prefix in front of your name, you need a chat formatting plugin to do it, and you need Vault. Same goes for the tablist! If the information appears correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

So after I setup up perms and everything I copy the command and it syncs and I then have my owner rank but then when I join back I no longer have my owner rank and can't use the commands I setup for the owner rank. But the owner rank is still there it just takes it from me. So then I have to keep going into the editor then getting the sync command again.

So i've been making a rankup plugin for my server and it checks if the user has group.name to see if they have passed the rank but one user who had the wolf rank still has the perm for the plugin but when I check they dont have the perm/group since I reset all the players back to the base rank (pig) by using bulk edit to replace wolf to pig.

Anyone know why p.haspermission(group.wolf) would return true? when the only perm they have is group.pig?

As for your issue, make sure to not only bulkupdate the group. perm but to also lp group <group> rename <new name> it as well

You might as well want to make use of one of the current DBs to connect both servers to that one:
· Run /lp export <file name> in one of the servers
· Stop the server, change the target database (address, credentials, etc) to the one you want to use
· Start the server and run /lp import <same file name> --merge and the exported data will be merged into the already existing database.

Then you should connect to that database all the servers you want to use the same dataset, and if you did all correctly, it'll work as expected.

You can grant your admin group permission to change into creative mode via the use of permissions/commands

You can't force them into the gamemode with LP unless you have a plugin that looks for a permission that then forces them into the gamemode

LP handles permissions, that's it

see i had a bungee and hub and a survival server
i had kept the backup of the databse so when the database machine went under maintainace i set the survival database to local and imported the files
it has nothing to do with present situation
i was making a skyblock server rn at last i installed luckperms rather than setting the whole perms again i thought of importing the perms of survival into it but when i changed h2 to mysql console showed that error
