Oh that's intentionally done- for users that have no other group default is the group they have, it's how the default group is designed (and they don't show on the editor intentionally too, try adding a test node to them (lp user <name> permission set test.test) and re run the editor, they'll appear

LuckPerms does not display things in chat!

LuckPerms is only able to send information to formatting plugins so that they display them properly. LuckPerms does not put the prefix in front of your name, you need a chat formatting plugin to do it, and you need Vault. Same goes for the tablist! If the information appears correctly when you run /lp user <user> info, LuckPerms is doing its job!

On my server I usually add groups to the players and not set them, due to having subranks, but I get issues on not being able to promote players on the current path they are on and it gives me an error that luckperms cannot figure out what rank the player is on the path.
