Hi guys, when I add a group to an online user, when he types the command, while he is typing, there is the message "Unknown command..." even though when he sends it, he has permission. Only after logging out and logging in again he has the tab autocomplete working and the message is gone. Any ideas how to make it so he doesn't have to relogin? I am using the API by the way

This is not an issue caused by LP but rather the database or a missconfiguration on your end. LP doesn't magically connect to the database. It uses Hikari and we can't controll everything about it ourself.

Also, Bamdam, I think it's because all of your ranks are set to the same weight, go through and set them up. The command is /lp group [name] setweight [Number]

Personally I don't know much about migrating between PEX and Luckperms, but I'm fairly sure that the PEX jar file is causing the errors. I'd try deleting just the jar file and restarting. Even if it doesn't end up fixing it, you'll still have the config, so you just need to reinstall the jar to get it back in working order.

You can change the storage type to YAML to be able to do that
but if you want to switch from another plugin to luckperms ( meaning you want to keep the data ) you can use LuckPerms import functionality

@pulsar sequoia it seems the error is caused by a server system confusing UUIDs and/or LP being given a new UUID for the player when another one was assigned at login if you know what i mean

The only reason that would happen is if you're running some sort of authentication or protection plugin that assigns UUIDs, and is doing so inconsistently
