The "Rank" has essentials.balance permission and whatever.
It just keeps denying me the command saying "You do not have access to that command."

Thanks for the suggestion. I did updated both.
It's just that being a user of the plugin implies an occurring warning that I have set something wrong myself.
I can't know that it's not a mistake without asking here first.
Maybe it would make more sense to remove the cause of the warning than to deal with people like me all the time. It's just an idea.

Basically, spigot made some changes which suggests that in the future that will be an issue, the issue is that right now vault doesn't expose a way to hook into it at a phase where plugins can actually access it properly

#

Shamefully, a lot of plugins don't use the vault API properly, and so fixing that issue with spigots current limitations is not viable without changes to vault (and ideally, plugins being fixed)

If a player has a group that's has a permission for example wildstacker.silktouch permission that allows him to mine spawners, if he has another group that doesn't have this permission the group that doesn't have this permission is his primary group he doesn't get the permission from the other goup to mine spawners.

Default groups come with LP, if you want to put someone in it then say /lp user <user> parent add default

And every new player automatically gets the default rank

But you can't just say the group "player" will be the default rank

default is well, the default group and AFAIK I don't think you can change that

So, stick with default or nothing else

You can still treat default as a normal rank and add your own prefixes like any other group

so...I had luckperms on both bungeecord and 3 of my spigot servers. One of the servers got moved to a different node and the other got terminated and had to readd everything on a different node. Will this cause any problems with reconnecting luckperms?

@simple scaffold check your default group. check if you have permission set in permissions.yml. make sure players aren't opped. check what groups inherit from each other.

permissions are false by default. the only time things need to be set to false is if that group inherits a permission from a group and you want to turn it off

There isn't really a way to set permissions for using command blocks unless you have a permission that does it.

How would I set something to the global context? I changed my server to something specific (skyblock), and had default contexts set up, and I wanted to set a perm to the global context, I would do permission set <perm> global, but when I do that on the latest version it doesn't seem to work thinking that global is a server.
