from the PlotSquared-Corner to be more specific and i think i found a big Problem that already made an Admin helpless π

My original Problem was that PlotSquared didn't wanted to let me claim a plot, even if i had every permission (I ran PEx to this time)
Than i got the advise to change to LP which i did and it worked great and everything transformed from pex to LP just fine.
Sadly, the permission problem did "walk over to LP" too...
The Plugin PlotSquared does know that the permission (plots.plot.4) is given, but i am still not able do perform it D:

First make sure you removed PEX after the migration as LP disables all permission functions when a other perm plugin (supported for migration) is installed.
And next step would be to use verbose to find the right permissions required for PlotSquared.

Quick question.
Is it possible with prefix stacking to make it so anyone who donates has the Donor tag by their name along with the member tag - but if that user is staff and has donated it only shows the donor tag plus staff tag?
The user has to be in the user track because of obvious reasons so im kinda lost as to what to do
so far I've been able to get it so Staff will ahve their staff tag and donor tag alone, but then any member who donates will only have the donor tag
or if i allow members to have the donor tag along with their member tag, the staff have all the tags which is a lot

Suggestion: can you add a feature within luckperms that allows you multiples prefixs/suffix. I'm using townychat and for some odd reason the prefix and suffix when used to show multiples titles does not work as effiecent as i want it to be such as [staffrank][donatorrank][freerank][customtitles]

that way we can use it in a way like this

I need help before my players murder me. I have read the wiki a few times and every time I think I have set up ranks and perms correctly, I am proven wrong. I use the web editor to work. I have a dozen ranks and each includes two group perms: the group and the group below it. So the Penny group includes group.penny and group.default. Nickel includes group.nickel and group.penny.
As players rank up, they are not receiving all of the perms for their new rank. Oddly, they receive some new perks, but not all and yes, the perms entered for each rank are correct.
The ONE step I did not do was, for example: /lp group nickel parent add penny.
A good example is this player, for whom primary rank is shown as Dime, although he is Quarter and shows that prefix in chat. He is missing 3-4 perms from the Quarter group, yet other Quarter perms are denied. (See below)
What am I doing wrong?!
I am not using Essential and rank up is determined solely based on playtime per CMI ranks.

not sure why you've added made the groups inherit themselves, it's not going to do anything (that I'm aware of). Anyway, have you set weights? Check weights with /lp listgroups, and also make sure you've set weights of the prefixes (good idea to make them match the weight of the group). You can check weights of prefixes with /lp user <user> meta info.

I thought I needed to do that to ensure that as players progress through ranks, they gain perms with new ranks while retaining the previously earned ones? The person who set up the rank prefixes for me did it like this: prefix.906.&4[&3Quarter&4] - but I did not add weight.XXX to each group.
But using listgroups? π¦ I need to add weight.XXX to each, in ascending order by rank, correct?
Staff and donator ranks are standalone and do not inherit.
Will adding weight.XX to each be enough or do I also need to /lp group XXX parent add XXX?

So I've setup a system where some Ranks have Prefixes and others use Suffixes.
The idea is to have one Prefix and one Suffix display in chat, from each of these groups.
The Prefix is appearing just fine from a User's Parent group. However the Suffix which should be displaying from the default Primary Group refuses to display, despite displaying as part of the user information.
I've got weights set for Preffix and Suffix and even tried applying weights on the groups themselves. Still no luck.
Meta-Formatting is set to display "highest" for both. And with Suffix (and Prefix) only being a meta in one (or the other) group, I would've thought they'd both show.

A 1.13/1.14 world requires converting to new lighting/chunk generation systems, 1.8 wouldn't have those so the world would most likely break.

Yes, it's a warp into a boss arena and I need it closed. if the boss dies it will remove the permission and set it back, but if he disconnects or something messes up it will glitch up and create a mess

so if you use Voxelmap client side, you can right click on an area of the map, and teleport to it. As an owner I can do it, my mods can do it, but my players cannot, and they have the same tp perms as the mods.

I've got 5 servers running, one of which is a Prison server with 26 ranks [A-Z] and was wondering if there's any way to keep these groups separate from the rest of my server while still maintaining the SQL connection for the core groups that we use for our staff. Any way around this? Or am I going to have to flood my other servers with these ranks as well?
