I have a issue. I have 9 servers linked by a bungeecord server. When I turn on the last server (with 8 online) the console spams erros about connection with mysql. No matter what server I turn on, the las one always spam errors. this is a limitation of this plugin? please mark me if you respond.

Hi! so I have a few grips/frustrations/quesiton about lp...its a great program..but I can't really use it. I can set everything up and make it look pretty but that is about it. I need accomplish the following:

1. Set up 4 groups (I have already done this)
2. 2 of those groups need access to worldedit plugin while the ohter 2 should not.
3. how in bloody hell do I assign myself into a group? (I already have essentialschat instead but the prefix is still not showing)

I set it to &8 (dark red) prefix still shows up as grey

&8 is dark gray. Not dark red.

&4 is dark red.

Also, I add some perms, but when I apply them to the server via the link, it deletes otehr permissions I have set before. for example, if I added the command /feed, it would remove another command randomly that I had saved before

So I have to keep adding and adding all of my commands or else some of them get deleted when I add new ones

You need to open a new editor session after you and saved used the link it gives you.

If you have the editor open then use the commands to add permissions the editor won't know about the permissions added through commands and will override them.

here is the EXACT thing I typed: /lp group owner meta addprefix 1000 &4Owner

When is says 'owner had prefix 'Owner' set at priority of 1000 in context global' the Owner part shows up red, but when I type, it is still grey

@limber stratus that's up to your chat plugin to format it correctly not luckperms. I bet if you do /lp user <user> info, it will show up correctly.

and i want to add it on bungeecord server

have i add the plugin to plugin list only on bungeecord server?

or add it to plugins to every subserver and connect it trough config of the plugin?

I have just tried with bungeecord plugin only. The entries are still generated.

But it's the same when I remove the bungeecord one and add the spigot.

Correct me if I'm jumping right into a convo I have no idea where it started, but did you try deleting or moving/removing existing perm config folders before trying to see if it generated anything again?

When I set a prefix ex: 'Owner" and I type in chat the prefix is still lowercase as if it was the group name and not the prefix I set

It also does not correspond to the color code I set to it

Any help would be a lifesaver
