I'm starting to feel like Blizzard keeps getting worse and worse, after two weeks of waiting they still haven't given Mei back. And the prices still no surprise costing $19 for a skin.
I miss the old Overwatch
Edit: Does anyone else think that legacy players should get a discount on items they haven't unlocked yet? (unpopular opinion)

They have done some small changes to the shop which is appreciated but it still feels a long way to go. I also can't help but agree that skin quality seems to have gone down just a little bit in OW2 - not to say the skins are bad, they're good and I really love Art Deco Symm, but the skins are noticeably more simple with Kiriko's legendary having default weapons and pants, and Mei's new epic being a recolour of her OW2 model
Waiting this long for a balance patch has been quite frankly dire, and it also kinda sucks knowing that Sojourn is gonna end up the same as well
I said this earlier but I really hope we look back on season 1 of OW2 and think "wow that was trash, glad things got better!", and it's just a rough start

Honestly I can't help but agree, I'm trying to stay hopeful that things will improve, and that's why I stuck with this game still- but it legitimately feels like it's more of WHEN I'll be done and quit the game instead of IF I'll be done and quit the game- blizzard is really testing my patience currently and I'm really holding out hope that things will improve-
I've been playing less and less Daily, and honestly the only thing that has me going is my desire to get the synthwave thing for my player profile, bcs it's actually rlly cool haha

I can relate to this as I took a long break from Overwatch just recently, Blizzard's release of the game and the practices they have used and the balance and matchmaking in general have just turned me off from the game. After playing these amazing games like Deep Rock Galactic and The Long Dark (even though they're not in the same genre) going back to Overwatch has just been a pain and made me realize just how much has went wrong with the release
I play alone because none of my friends like the game anymore, and they all were frequent ow1 players until the final 8 months of ow1

I played ow1 until the last breath, with a few breaks here and there- one massive break after Echo's release especially because my computer broke and I couldn't play at all-
So yeah It rlly sucks to see Blizzard suck the life out of this game I loved so much

I have a friend who just joined Overwatch and to him everything is just fine, since he unfortunatly hasn't had the Ow1 experience

I'm not the type of person to rage at video games, I guess I'm the core playerbase because I play a lot but I'm not competitive, but I have closed Overwatch 2 in the middle of games like 9 times since release, and maybe only once in ow1. I found that ow1 was just so fun to play. When the ow2 beta came out I played ow1 more because I felt it was honestly the better experience
