The mortals of Nirn are born under certain birthsigns. With the month of June, or Midyear, at hand, the Steed now rides into prominence to greet the summer solstice.

The Steed
The Steed is one of the Warrior's Charges, and her Season is Mid Year. Those born under the sign of the Steed are impatient and always hurrying from one place to another.
- The Firmament

This one hears the pounding of hooves, feels the straining of muscles. You are borne by the Steed, walker—headstrong and willful. Swiftness is a great gift, but only when measured with foresight. Do not rush headlong into danger.
- Hanubina-ko

Today the Steed shall speed your progress on the road to destiny.
- Uriel VII

The Steed's gallop is powerful and willful, their determination guiding them to overcome challenges that others would fall before, but they are also hasty in judgment and may benefit from greater restraint and awareness of their surroundings. What TES characters do you feel best embody this birthsign, and why?

Honestly? Sinderion comes to mind immediately

#

Very fucking determined to find out the secrets and the intricacies of Nirnroot

#

Only for tragedy to befall him due to his hastiness

This one isn't gonna make sense to a lot of people but I would personally vote Hakon One-Eye, the ancient nord hero who fought to banish Alduin in the Dragon War.

#

The Steed sign is pretty obviously inspired by the Chariot major arcana, which corresponds with overcoming challenges through determination, willpower, and control of your circumstances, and I think this fits very well with the feat of Hakon and the Tongues banishing Alduin.

It makes perfect sense

#

Hakon was one of the most persistent mfs and certainly was the most active of the First Tongues

I think Pelinal Whitestrake fits the Steed quite well. His determination is unmatched, but he was always hasty and refused to think critically before committing to an action. He charged into battle alone because he was impatient and did not want to listen to Perrif.

Hjalti, because if Tibedetha ( the holiday dedicated to him celebrated Midyear ) is related to his day of birth—he’d be a Steed. PepeLOSINGIT

Jokes aside, I think a good one for this would be Delphine. Fairly headstrong, certainly willful, and shows hastiness in judgement both in regards to the dragons appearances ( immediately thinking the Thalmor were up to it ) and of course the infamous Paarthurnax dilemma. She’s also lived a good part of her life on the move considering the Blades forced into hiding for the past thirty or so years leading up to the game.

Isran, his determination and his headstrength in his beliefs and his convictions imply he was surely born under the steed

Sounds basic, and I don't like the guy, but I'd say ulfric is born of the steed sign

#

He's headstrong in his beliefs regarding his religion and started a rebellion, furthermore a war over it

#

But he lacks foresight, and doesn't patiently play out his moves

#

The war in general was a lack in foresight, instead of trying to understand the situation and use that strong determination of his for a better purpose, he saw one of his freedoms being taken and therefore shut off any other perspective

#

He takes things one large, uncertain leap at a time instead of carefully considering the next few moves ahead
