If you have a strong source of light (sunlight, neutral lamps) you can take a photo of your art. It’s not perfect, but cropping out the edges might be good enough to at least enter it. Just my 2c.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but at the start of Faith 2, ||if you go back into the starting room after Michael escapes from his restraints but before he's eating the guy, the closet to the north opens and you can go inside and the sound where you activate something plays, but me and my friends can't work out if that does anything or is tied to any ending||

Thanks! I'm also working on some concept stuff for my first serious game project. Been in the middle of building a PC and going to be dabbling with low poly models in Blendr aside from Unity.

btw the confusion about the basement demon comes from the fact you and Rarsonic were talking about two different demons, which both have red hands(?) and a relation to basements:
- In candy tunnel in chapter II when you are warned not to move, the demon covering its face with red hands. This demon also chases you in the basement in chapter III. This is the one Rarsonic was thinking of. In its pixel sprite it is grey with a red mess instead of a face.
- Also in candy tunnel after you follow a trail of blood and pick up a torch, you fight a demon in the darkness. Its sprite is also grey and has red on its limbs. As you fight it, it opens and closes its jaw by the looks. This is the one ScalySchisms drew.

Honestly, I think it's a hint of some kind.
The clown on the invitation card has deformed eyes and yellow teeth. He probably doesn't look like that in real life. Maybe it's the first hint that not even the notes may be hallucinations by John? But what would Garcia have to do with that?
Maybe Garcia will join the cult. John's cross goes from gold to silver to copper in faith 1-3 but Garcia's cross is already copper in faith 2, so it must be in a fourth stage of decay in faith 3. Since the cross colors represent the priests' faith, that can't be a good thing.

I'm pretty desensitized to horror and I enjoy the stylistic aspect of the genre

it really depends on the horror genre, I like silent hill for different reasons than, say, Alan Wake or Resident Evil 4
in terms of enjoying Faith, it's a game where there's just enough context for me to allow my own head to fill in details and scare itself, and that thrill is fun by itself
there's also intrigue, psychological exploration of paranoia and whatnot, it really depends on the game, and it's really something often hard to explain, specially without spoiling
if you want to expand your interests, just play different horror games: silent hill 2, alan wake, resident evil (keep in mind RE games span a whole lot of different horror genres by itself), paratopical, alone in the dark, faith, fear & hunger, etc

Funny thing- the things that scare me the most are always things like Faith and Lone Survivor. Limited mobility, limited ways of defending yourself, high vulnerability. Both also feature characters of questionable sanity.

So I gotta admit, it took me a while to take to Faith. It just felt sluggish and I didn't wanna invest the time to do everything all over again if I would die just before another save point. Taking my time to get immersed, read all the notes and just being more patient in general on my second go now and gotta admit that it's been a while since a game has managed to scare me like Faith did
