Sorry, didn't realize that cheat showed enemies through walls. But yeah, one of the enemies was one of those fire breathing masks. In this room, on the roof. It didn't aggro until I flew next to it so I'm not sure if it's able to see the player and aggro unless you fly up there.

RTX update, all the outside lights in AE have shadows now
plus a few select things like the voltride casts shadows, the whispers edge, moon boss projectile etc
there's an update coming with more RTX stuff in the campaign, hopefully next week
please note you have to launch RTX like this now
you have to specifically hit that play button for some reason to get launch options

hello yes I return, eating crow - it tends to help matters if you're actually playing the RTX beta
Somehow, when I rebooted Amid Evil, the dialog box either did not appear or (more likely) I mashed past it in an ADHD-driven frenzy and ended up in the main build, not the RTX one. I've since fixed that and my game is now 100% more raytraced. So, apologies for the dumb question earlier.

I used to have a lot of criticism against the soundtrack, but now thinking about it, I was completely in the wrong.
I was disappointed because there was no heavy metal/shred tracks, but the more I think about it, the more I realize how much it would’ve ruined the atmosphere
