Well like for example dusk put little spins on it with the shaft you had to scale up and shoot buttons for example, I don't feel like ae has anything like that. it kinda feels like more of the same which again is fine. But then the other issue in general is just that it takes influuence from hexen and heretic and I feel that influence... and I didn't really enjoy heretic a whole lot... so yah, tbf though imo ae is leagues better than heretic, purely just because I actually have fun playing ae
