I recently (yesterday) finally quit using windows, as after yet another “update” most of my hardware for my job and about half my games just quit working for the 3rd time this year. So I’m going to be running Ubuntu Studio on a modest little pc until I can afford to go back to using Mac OS for my music production (Windows is one driver nightmare after another for our department). I’ve spent more in windows software just to do my job because it’s so damned broken on the audio end than I ever did under OS X or Linux in past years

@patent thicket It has something to do with how UE4 parses framerate. If you go too high above the built-in limit, you get lag. If you go too low (even if it's above 60) you get microstuttering

yeah like I said it's a performance related thing. that grassy area takes me down to like 80-90... it's a rock solid 144 everywhere else... except for one time on the second level, i was dropping to ~80 in a certain area but it was only once and I couldnt reproduce it.... weeeeeird
