Every time I change it ingame and then disconnect and start a server again it just snaps back to a really specific value I didn't set. Like it I set it to 0.1 it sets itself to 0.08170497 every time I disconnect and reconnect.

Just played Dusk for the first time couple days ago and beat it on Ciero Miedo, excellent stuff, its probably the only game that does the whole replication of late 90s 3D shooters the best, down to the pacing, smooth as hell controls and the polygon count and the way it does colors and such, really good, soundtrack's great, guns feel and sound great, very nice map design, the minimal story is interesting enough to keep you guessing, boss fights are cool, doesnt shy away from mixing fast pace with the occasional slow pace levels, doesnt take itself too seriously, does spooky good, nostalgia hits home, mod support and multiplayer, bretty gud, I can only hope for additional episode expansions or perhaps a sequel, that was nice tho

Idk how someone would survive their first encounter with fork maidens on CM without escaping
I already knew a bit of the game on my run so I knew what was coming
But if I hadn't, those bitches do 80 damage and are pretty fucking tanky, and that's not too good to be unprepared for when you're forced into a tiny closet with two of them, so I'm pretty sure I would have died
Episode Three didn't really have closets at least
I can think of only one that was a bit mean
With the bone monks and the horrors in a room with very little free movement
If there was a limit to how many attacks can be thrown at the player, like in the new Doom games, closets would be less unfair

@stone flicker Here's a good tip: get good at dodging
the game is really cruel if you don't dodge somewhat well
super shotgun punishes you for not doing well with dodging since you gotta get close to utilize the spread

You just have to jump around the place and keep an eye on enemies and not let them surround you
There are barely any situations in the game where you actively have to dodge
It's only relevant in tight spaces
And most of the combat happens in more open spaces
You can also take cover and stuff
you can peek back out in no time
DUSK doesn't force you into any playstyle pretty much
It's a little bit sandboxy
And 40% immersive sim

The mortar is super good

Also you might need some distance for remote detonation
Because you need to wait for the firing cooldown to end before you can detonate
Doesn't matter if it's a direct shot though
I too underutilized it, but that was mostly because I didn't know how simple its physics actually were and how good it is in general
The physics is just that it adds your forward speed to the grenade
