You don't need to use the console for cheats
You just press the keys in order
But for the console, you need a keyboard layout that has a ~ key, which is to the left of 1
So the button below esc
For me it's a 0 because my keyboard is Hungarian
I usually rebind the console in other games for that reason

AR is actually very useful in combination with the super shotgun to take down the tankier enemies
like try the combo on a horror or a red wizard

One of my favorite things was holding left click with the AR and then pressing the key for the SSG while holding left click

head back into level select. you should be able to pick up from the last level you cleared from there

Was surprised to see everything working. Overload for example can be forced as well but some of the textures weren't compiled for Vulkan so some effects/particles are giant purple blobs

which no other soul on earth has ever experienced
if you bind your attack button to something other than mouse 1 and set your melee to mouse 1 like me then it's possible that you can swap weapons fast enough to where the buttons get switched
eg I quick swap to melee then back to hunting rifle (holding mouse 1) and then the hunting rifle fires even though I never pressed my fire button
We need more QA teams in this world with people like you.

Oi, sounds like someone else is discovering some nutzoid things about weapon-swapping, time for me to share something.
If you have a sword, you can swap to your sickles by using Quick Melee. But if you immediately swap to any other weapon, you instead quick-melee with a sword. You can strike with the strength of your sword, at the speed of your sickles. It's stupid and super useful.
Doesn't work during Fast Fire though.
I have 1 bound to quick melee. So then I just press 1, then, say, 3 for my super shotgun. The sword flashes on the side of the screen and decimates the target. After the strike, you equip whatever weapon you'd swapped to. Very fast way of killing many Leathernecks with a sword and a lever-action shotgun.
Oh, no, see, when you have a sword, you equip the sword by default when you press 1. Quick melee still equips the sickles. That, and quick-melee to bust out sickles, has zero wind-up to deflecting projectiles with them.

You can jump off the ledge where the red key is and just aim yourself to the boss area and skip the whole level like its nothing

And I believed them, got angry at the level design and reloaded the map

The situation was very upsetting
I walked around in the room for minutes but couldn't spot the hole in the wall I could duck in

i played first time through beating each level without a death
on E3M9 you can kinda abuse the fact that falling off the map just teleports you back onto it in case strafejumping around the edges of the arena stops working

use the secret exit 
just had to ddrop off the map to clear out their homing shots
tfw couldn't find the secret for that level
I saw the teleporter for the secret exit but didn't know to get to it
Grand wizards are what made me jump off the map too

E3M9 was actually the first map on which I had problems with grand wizards because usually I killed them quickly.
They were slow and big targets
And all other maps had cover
So I could peek out, shoot them twice and they were dead
Sometimes I didn't really need to peek either because they are so big parts of them hang out from behind stuff so you can shoot them before they see you
i always found them to be one of the more dangerous enemies in the game and killed them asap
them and the stupid dogs
There are some enemies I know nothing of because I was too busy killing them asap
For wizards, it was just that they were easy to kill so I took case of them first

Yea dunno, they were 2 rifles shots and took a while with any thing else on Cero Miedo
so i couldnt eliminate them as fast as I wanted most the time
they're like 2 rifles/2 rivet shots
I pretty much only used the hunting rifle against 3 enemy types
I lover the HR but I was always afraid the game wouldn't give me any ammo for it

Also if you have 14/15 ammo you can accidentally pick up a box of 5, a mechanic I always hated
If I'll ever make a map I will put every pickup out of the player's way so they can only be picked up deliberately

I have an issue where my dusk says it is running at 200+ fps but feels more like 30. I have tried reinstalling and -window-mode exclusive. does anyone have any advice?
-window-mode exclusive was removed from Unity long ago, but I made a patch (which is available on the forums) that allows you to restore it

for the big lava pools in the map you can just use the jump pads or go along the sides because dusk dude is a goat and can stay on any surface no matter how steep
The map also has climbing things for that
But it's still a flaw

I saw the entrance after i had already used up the suit
just take the damage 
there's a hallowed health and thermal suit in it anyway
imagine not finishing each map with 1 health and 0 morale on Intruder mode

in dusk it isn't a design flaw. the powerup respawns, lasts more than enough time to get you through, and isn't even essential to completion anyways

I remember actively looking for a basketball where the basketball actually happened to be but didn't see it.
I figured out I had to find a basketball for the secret, looked everywhere for one, but when I checked the place where it was I could not see it.
Similar to the case with the wall cracks where I couldn't see them even when looking at them, for them.
The basketball case was just me being blind I guess.
But I have no idea how you are supposed to see cracks on a texture that's already quite uneven and noisy
And half of it is the same color as the cracks themselves
it may be easier with bilinear filtering, i dunno
