Jakob is pretty challenging
BJ's grenades are piss easy to dodge but his auto shotgun is pretty darn hard to avoid
I might have cheesed the bossfights then
I don't recall taking any damage from big john as i stood pretty far away from him and picked him off with longer range guns, and jakob was kind of the same, used the sniper on him often!

I have just tested them:
Tapfiring with both Dual Pistols and a Single Pistol does NOT make them perfectly accurate, unlike the Assault Rifle
If you wait about a whole second without firing any pistol, however, they do remain accurate

at this point since the SDK is getting closer and closer and with it will come a new "source port" version of Dusk at some point, it's kinda not worth adding extra features.

Well, it's just like in the good ol' Doom, 500 :v
@queen coral unsure. The problem with releasing Dusk's source atm is that there's no good way to release it in a state where someone can't literally just build a working copy of Dusk without paying for it
The only games I can think of where you aimed with weapon direction of that era are like, trespasser and perfect dark
So releasing the actual project files would have to be some time in the future when isn't as much concern over it destroying sales
And yeah, also the plugins used for dusk
that's one of the main reasons that the SDK is gonna also have a different version of Dusk.
The sdk wont use those plugins obv
And very likely once that's all polished up, it will become the official version and the current one will become like... Dusk legacy or something like that

you'll still be able to play it as a launch option or whatever, but probably SDK version will be the one that gets continued support / updates
which for you guys basically just means "at some point there will be a huge update and another launch option"
So I know you guys are real hard at work on SDK, and SDK is going to provide some really awesome stuff

If there's like a really solid epiphany and magically we have the time energy inspiration ideas motivation etc to actually do more, then there's a possibility it could happen

Not that I'm aware of. Most levels are designed in away that you can always go back. Some levels like Steamworks have a trigger that locks you out from the beginning area, but the only "secret" there is the soap iirc
